Felix works in the financial services industry, focusing on strategic, operational, and regulatory issues.
Before joining a leading asset manager in his current role, he spent most of his career in consulting, working at both the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and Deloitte. Whilst a consultant he advised a wide range of financial services firms on how regulatory changes would impact their business strategies and operating models. Earlier in his career, Felix worked at the UK’s financial regulator, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), and in Parliament as a specialist policy adviser on HM Treasury matters.
Felix graduated with a starred first in History and Politics from the University of York, and holds an MPhil in Intellectual History and Political Thought from the University of Cambridge.
Through the Thatcher Fellowship, he hopes to engage with others who share his concern about the UK’s prolonged economic stagnation. He is particularly keen to explore practical policy solutions to the country’s most pressing challenges and to contribute to discussions on how the UK can achieve stronger economic growth and prosperity in the decades ahead. Outside of work, Felix is an avid heavy metal fan and has played in a number of bands. He is also a keen student of history and enjoys learning about different historical periods and ideas.
