Anthony Graham is Head of Fund Management at Tatton Investment Management, where he leads Tatton’s fund offerings across c.£13 billion in assets under management and is one of the senior leaders across Tatton’s full investment solution. With thirteen years of buy-side experience, he works across multi-asset portfolio construction, investment due diligence, and asset allocation, including direct UK equity research through having worked on the management of a UK AIM portfolio, with a particular personal interest in UK listed equities and the structural conditions that determine whether domestic capital markets attract long-term investment.
His perspective on policy is shaped by exposure across multiple angles: conversations with company CEOs, fund managers allocating capital on behalf of millions of savers, and clients experiencing the real-world consequences of investment and regulatory decisions. That vantage point informs his interest in the relationship between the policy environment and productive investment. Specifically, why the UK’s accumulated regulatory and fiscal complexity advantages scale over competition, what a coherent free market approach to capital allocation and local economic development looks like in practice, and how incentive structures can be redesigned so that the state’s interest aligns with productive behaviour rather than subsidising the alternative.
