Jack is a qualified chartered accountant with a background in auditing private and publicly listed companies. In 2018, he graduated from the University of Warwick with an accounting and finance degree.

Speaking about the Thatcher Fellowship, Jack said:

‘The problems our country faces today have not been brought about because taxes have been too low or because the regulatory burden has been too small or because we have too much freedom. Rather, we have seen, and continue to see, an ever expanding state that treads heavily upon our lives. The result has been 17 years of anaemic economic growth. We have forgotten the power of free markets, of the instinctive nature and ability of man to improve his lot when given the chance. One of Margaret Thatcher’s unique abilities was to explain and champion these ideas in plain and understandable language. And since 1974, the Centre for Policy Studies has carried this beacon through its vast research and notable impact on policy makers.

‘I am excited to join the Thatcher Fellowship in its inaugural year to understand how we can once again communicate and make free market ideas popular to a new age. We will only do this if we have the courage to stand up and be counted. The task is not impossible, though; we have the facts of life on our side.’
