Gerard Lyons is a highly respected economist and Research Fellow at the Centre for Policy Studies and has been described by the Times as “one of the most influential analysts of the global economy.”
On public policy he advised Boris Johnson when Mayor, was senior advisor to Gordon Brown’s Business Council for Britain and was a candidate for Governor of the Bank of England in 2019. On the environment he has sat on the Advisory Board of the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment since its inception in 2008. He is a board member of two global firms in the City, has an excellent forecasting record and is an active contributor to the economic policy debate.
