Lord Strathclyde

Lord Strathclyde is a British businessman and politician, who served as Leader of the House of Lords in David Cameron’s Cabinet from 2010 to 2013. He was leader of the Conservative Party in the Lords for 14 years and previously served as a Minister in the governments of John Major and Margaret Thatcher.

He has wide interests in business, chairs a charity, and is a Senior Advisor to several international companies.

He is a Governor of Wellington College. Lord Strathclyde was created a Companion of Honour in 2013 and has been a Privy Counsellor since 1995.
