'The EU is Still Not the Answer to Britain's Growth Problems' - media coverage

Labour’s plans for a reset with the European Union are no substitute for a credible growth strategy and could be an obstacle to delivering one, according to a leading economist. Dr Gerard Lyons, Research Fellow at the Centre for Policy Studies, has published a follow-up to his 2024 briefing paper outlining why leaving the EU has not been the cause of Britain’s growth problems, and why closer relations of the kind Labour MPs and activists are calling for will not solve them.

Dr Lyons wrote about the report for The Telegraph (also in print), it also received coverage in the Daily Express (also in print), The Times, and City A.M.. Dr Lyons also discussed the paper on LBC News, Times Radio, and on BBC Radio 4’s Any Questions.
