WhatsApp-style message system could drive NHS into digital age

Doctors and nurses should be able to share patient information via an NHS-endorsed app according to a new report published by the Centre for Policy Studies, writes Edward Malnick in The Telegraph, writes Tuesday 1 May.

The “NHS technology lag” as the report terms it, has left healthcare providers struggling to communicate with patients – who more and more use digital technology in their lives – in a secure way.
