Despite good progress on mental health issues in recent years there is still more to be done and universities are a key partner, writes Emma Revell.
In her essay for CPS publication ‘New Blue’, Helen Whately MP highlights a “toxic mix of circumstances that can make students at university especially vulnerable to mental health crises”.
Emma reflects on her own circumstances at university, how proposals outlined by Helen and her researcher Alys Denby will benefit students, and the future economic benefits of a workforce better able to addres and manage mental health conerns.
