Less than one in five voters believe taxes are too low, says CPS polling

“Only three in 100 people feel they personally pay too litte [tax]” reports The Sun, Monday 5 November.

The figures, which come from YouGov polling commissioned by the Centre for Policy Studies, also show fewer than 20% of voters believe taxes are too low. The polling was released ahead of the publication of ‘Make Work Pay’, the first report published as part of the major new policy programme from the Centre for Policy Studies that is being launched by the Prime Minister.
