Jeremy Hunt today praised a recent CPS report on the future of technology in the NHS.
In response to a question from Alan Mak MP – the author of “Powerful Patients, Paperless Systems” – asking him to “explore the possiblity of new technologies” in the NHS, the Health Secretary responded by praising the “excellent” report and expressing his desire to “be the first country in the world where all patients can access their medical records via app.”
Powerful Patients, Paperless Systems, written by Alan Mak MP and published by the Centre for Policy Studies, was launched at a reception with Jeremy Hunt on 1 May.
