While younger generations have grown up in a paperless world, the NHS remains “weighed down at the heavy burden of paper”. Mak, whose new report Powerful Patients, Paperless Systems is published today by the Centre for Policy Studies, proposes a raft of measures to improve services and provide a smoother experience for patients using healthcare services.
