Give unions more powers in the workplace but curb their political activity, says top Tory activist

Workers should be given greater say in how their workplaces are run, argues Nick Denys in “A Modern Employment Act”, his essay in the CPS’ ‘New Blue’ collection.

The Mirror reports that Nick argues for greater trade union involvement in workplaces but that unions should cut back on political activity and show they “concretrate on workplace matters and represent all workers”.
