Tim Knox: No, Britain does not need a cross-party consensus on Brexit

Following the election there were growing calls for a cross-party approach to some large national issues, namely Brexit. City AM’s debate page asked “Is the call for a collaborative, cross-party consensus what Britain needs at the moment?” and Tim Knox argues a clear NO.

“Jeremy Corbyn and John McDonnell have unashamedly reintroduced ideology into British politics. Over the last two years, they have put forward openly socialist policies which, while they would do great damage to the UK, have appealed to many voters.”
