On 10 May 2017, several news organisations reported that they had received a leaked copy of Labour’s draft manifesto plans for the 2017 general election. Staff from across the Centre for Policy Studies responded to Labour’s hard-left manifesto pledges.

Tim Knox, CPS Director, called the leaked manifesto “longest sweetie shop note in history”. Tim also said “Expecting people to believe that Labour’s pledges are affordable is an insult to their intelligence.”
