Daily Mail quote Nobel Prize Winner, CPS on state spending

“The comments came in a survey by the Centre for Macroeconomics which found that 23 of 28 economists believe Osborne’s spending plans are not credible.

It followed a warning by the Institute for Fiscal Studies that cuts ‘on a colossal scale’ will be needed.

But a report by the Centre for Policy Studies think tank argued that while the cuts required may be colossal they are also ‘essential’ for the UK to prosper.”
