“I have become so inured to the BBC’s historic europhile bias that I thought nothing could surprise or anger me. Since Friday I have been seething.

Our national broadcaster chose to ignore Cameron’s historic lone man stand against the bullying, bureaucratic and corrupt superstate that the original EEC (all the British people ever voted for) has become. It reported instead eurocentric spin. Even the pro EU Financial Times’s headline, ‘Cameron cold shoulders Europe’ was more straightforward.

Whether or not the Cameron stance turns out to be less than it appears is beside the point. At least one eurosceptic blog claims there was actually nothing to veto (no new treaty was actually on the table). Nevertheless he put his neck on the line and the BBC should be in the dock for their abject failure to report this critical historic moment properly or fairly. But it won’t be.”
