CPS Director Tim Knox was quoted in the Scottish Sunday Express on Britain’s relationship with Europe post-David Cameron’s veto.
“THE UK should heed lessons from Singapore and forge new trading relationships after its schism with the rest of the EU, a leading think tank believes.
Last week the Prime Minister vetoed an EU treaty change designed to resolve the eurozone debt crisis, putting him at odds with the other 26 member states.
Tim Knox, director of the Centre for Policy Studies, said: “It’s far too early to say what the trading implications will be but Europe needs Britain more than Britain needs Europe.””
