The Centre for Policy Studies will be hosting an ‘in conversation’ event with Minister for Regulatory Reform Lord Dominic Johnson. The event will take place from 10.00 – 11.00 on Thursday 23rd May at a central London location.
CPS Director Robert Colvile will sit down with Lord Johnson and Chair of the Centre for Finance, Innovation and Technology and CPS Board Member, Charlotte Crosswell OBE, to discuss the rising regulatory burden on business, its impact on growth and innovation, and how to create a more productive regime. The government’s new White Paper ‘Smarter regulation: delivering a regulatory environment for innovation, investment and growth’, recent CPS paper ‘The Future of Regulation‘ and upcoming paper ‘Regulating for Growth’ will also be discussed.
