Retail Therapy Report Launch Event
Wednesday 5 July, 14:00-15:00
How can we encourage more people to own shares? As inflation hammers the value of cash savings, the case for persuading people to become investors has never been stronger. A new Centre for Policy Studies report, ‘Retail Therapy‘, asks how we can revive Margaret Thatcher’s dream of a share-owning democracy, and give retail investors a better deal.
To mark the report’s launch, the CPS is delighted to host a short speech from Economic Secretary to the Treasury, Andrew Griffith MP, with comments from the report’s author, CPS Research Fellow and former Government adviser Nick King, and the Chief Executive of PIMFA (Personal Investment Management & Financial Advice Association) Liz Field.
The event will be held on Wednesday July 5th from 14.00 – 15.00 at a central London location. Places are limited but are available for CPS newsletter subscribers. To register your interest, please email [email protected] with your full name by lunchtime on Friday 30th June. We will confirm with successful attendees on the afternoon of Friday June 30.
