Every time motorists fill up at the pump, they are unknowingly paying for the UK’s biofuels mandate, requiring the blending of biofuels into petrol and diesel. With rising concerns around food security and inflation, as well as the sustainability of biomass energy, is the use of food crops still justified? And what other reforms are needed to ensure the policy is fit for purpose in the world of zero-emission vehicles?
To discuss these issues and celebrate the launch of a CPS report on the subject, we’re delighted to be joined by a panel of policy experts and industry representatives for an in-person panel discussion.
