What is the long-term fiscal outlook for the UK and what are its implications for the next generation? Are current levels of government debt sustainable? What pressures are the public finances likely to face in the coming decades and how might government prepare for them? To discuss the Office for Budget Responsibility’s (OBR) recent fiscal risks and sustainability report and the wider imbalance between generations, we’re delighted to be joined by a panel of experts including the OBR’s Chair Richard Hughes for an in-person panel event chaired by the Centre for Policy Studies’s Robert Colvile.
