The decline in political trust
The Centre for Policy Studies is delighted to welcome Dr Frank Luntz for the annual Sir Keith Joseph Memorial Lecture. Dr Luntz is a visiting academic fellow at the CPS and the world’s leading expert on political language and communication. He will share his insights on the state of politics in both the UK and the US, voters’ attitudes and the current decline in political trust we are witnessing in both countries.
This lecture will explore some of the findings of Dr Frank Luntz’s landmark survey of the British public’s language and values, which he conducted during his time as a visiting academic fellow in the summer of 2021.
The Sir Keith Joseph Memorial Lecture is hosted annually by the Centre for Policy Studies to celebrate the memory of its co-founder, the Rt Hon Sir Keith Joseph.
Previous Sir Keith Joseph Memorial Lectures were delivered by the Baroness Thatcher, Sir Graham Brady MP, Hon John Howard, the Rt Hon Michael Gove MP, Lord Ridley, among others.
