In December 1942, the British government published the Beveridge report – which laid the foundations of the NHS and modern welfare state. To mark the 80th anniversary of the report, we are joined by an all-star panel for an online panel discussion, chaired by CPS Director Robert Colvile, to discuss the legacy and modern-day relevance of the report – and what the welfare state of the 21st century should look like.
