Adapting regulation to a changing environment is no easy task, especially following a pandemic that has had such a devastating impact globally. Recovering from the virus will be a long process, but financial regulation can be a helpful tool in order to ensure our rules aRE fit for the future. To build back better, the UK must maintain its position as a pre-eminent global financial centre. This panel discussion will examine how regulatory changes can support markets and encourage competition to, ultimately, bring better outcomes for consumers and companies.
This panel discussion explored the recommendations made in Lord Hill’s UK Listing Review, as well as the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead more broadly for the financial services sector.
