Hugo de Burgh is Professor of the Study of Journalism and Director of the China Media Centre at the University of Westminster. He is one of a small number of academics who have pioneered the study of the Chinese media outside the Chinese world and his latest book, “China’s Media in an Emerging World Order”, celebrated its launch at the Centre for Policy Studies on Tuesday 28 November.
