Andrew Sentance CBE is Senior Economic Adviser to PWC, a position he took up in November 2011. He was previously an external member of the Monetary Policy Committee of the Bank of England from October 2006 to May 2011.
In this roundtable lunch, Andrew outlined what he saw as the key challenges facing the economy over the next 5 years. Drawing on his experience on the MPC, he explained why he thought continued expansionary monetary policy through QE brought significant economic risks.
