Robert Colvile, Editor of CapX, wrote a piece following the opening address of the Margaret Thatcher Conference on Security, given by Dr Henry Kissinger, on 27 June 2017.

In his article, Rob argues that Dr Kissinger wasn’t so much speaking about Mrs Thatcher as speaking to her. His speech was a response to a 1996 speech given by Mrs Thatcher in which she set out the various threats to world order and how she felt the world, especially the United Kingdom and the United States, should respond.
