    Powerful Patients & Paperless Systems:

     by Alan Mak MP

This is an invitation only event, however if you are interested in attending, please contact [email protected] or call 0207 222 4488.

This reception, and new research paper authored by Alan Mak MP, will focus on how we need to use new technology to empower patients, in line with Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt’s aspiration of “creating the decade of patient power”.

The research paper will explore how we can bring together the fragmented nature of NHS Digital services, making sure all services are on an easy to use platform with technology patients can trust and which conform to standardised rules.

From an AI perspective, it will also look at how the UK can become a world leader in ethics and data safety, creating built-in not bolt-on system. It will also look at how technology is funded and how to scale it up, including being able to sell new techniques and technologies globally
